Documents you will require when you travel
Please ensure you have your booking confirmation and or booking reference with you when you travel, whether it is in paper form, on your mobile or tablet. This will identify you as an Airport Parking Genie customer and enable the service provider to verify your booking. Where you have booked a car park that requires you to use credit card entry and exit procedures please ensure you have with you the credit card with which you booked.
PLEASE NOTE: In making your booking you have agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Bookings for Airport Parking Genie Ltd.
All of the car park services offered by Airport Parking Genie Ltd are based off-site, unless otherwise stated. Airport Parking Genie Ltd will not be held responsible for any claims for refunds based on any customer's claims that this information is not readily available on the website, as it is stated throughout the website and within the stated terms and conditions.
1.Definitions
In these Terms "you", "your" and "customer" refers to any person or entity responsible for any booking, "we", "our(s)", "us" and "APG" refers to Airport Parking Genie Ltd and "their", "them", "car park" and "company" refers to the airport parking provider. The contract for all the advertised services is made between you and the featured car parks.
Any contract made between you and the car park is governed by English law.
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time.
The terms which apply to your booking are the ones stated on the car park providers' website by the date and time of your booking.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AGP with respect to the sale of the relevant services.
2.Bookings and Services
2.1 Airport Parking Genie Ltd acts only as a booking agent for the featured car parks. You will be contracting with the individual car park and will be subject to their Terms and Conditions which may contain exemption clauses and limit each company's liability. Full details of these are available from the individual car park.
2.2 Bookings via our website are deemed to have been made final once a booking reference number has been issued. All Terms and Conditions are deemed to have been accepted when a booking reference number has been issued.
2.3 Telephone bookings are deemed to have been made final when confirmed by our telephone representative. All terms and conditions are deemed to have been accepted once confirmation of the booking has been issued.
2.4 It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that a valid contact number and email address is provided at the time of making a booking.
2.5 It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure he/she reads the confirmation email before travelling.
2.6 APG will not accept liability for any costs incurred or consequential loss arising due to the failure of the customer to provide a valid contact number, email address or failing to read and/or follow the instructions provided on the confirmation email before travelling.
2.7 All services are subject to availability.
2.8 APG reserve the right not to accept or fulfil a booking. A booking is not a guaranteed place and we may cancel a booking if the service provider advises that it is unable to fulfil a booking. In these circumstances a refund will be given but APG accepts no liability for any consequential loss or losses arising.
2.9 Car Parks which include a Price match promise or Money Back offer can only be applied to like for like products found on an alternative website within 24 hours of making a booking. Prices achieved by use of a discount code are excluded. All claims must be made in writing to our customer service team along with supporting documentation showing when and where the lower price was found. Upon confirmation a full refund will then be granted to the payment card with which the booking was originally made.
2.10 All prices are quoted in UK pound sterling, include VAT where applicable and are subject to change.
3.Liabilities and other terms
3.1 The car parks will accept liability for proven acts of their negligence. All claims for damage must be reported before your vehicle has left the site (Park & Ride) or terminal (On-Site and Meet & Greet). Failure to report any damage may impact on your chances of a successful claim, so please check your vehicle carefully before leaving.
3.2 APG acts only as a booking agent for the service provider for the featured car parks. We do not provide the services. The customer will be contracting with the service provider and will be subject to the service provider's terms and conditions. Full details of these terms and conditions are available from the service provider.
3.3 As a booking agent for the service provider, APG is liable to the customer only for losses directly arising from negligence on our behalf in processing a booking. Any claims by the customer in respect of the delivery of the car parking services must be made against the service provider and subject to its terms and conditions.
3.4 Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we do not accept liability for any failure if an event beyond our reasonable control prevents us from performing our obligations including: War or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist threats or activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, government regulations, closure or congestion of airports, and / or cancellation or changes of schedules by airlines.
3.5 In the unlikely event the Parking Provider fails to provide you with a Meet and Greet service we will not be responsible for any additional costs which may occur. We will issue a full refund for your parking. We will not be held responsible for any additional costs such as additional parking, airport lounges, missed flights or any other costs apart from the original price of your booking. We reserve the right to cancel your booking within 24 hours. If we cancel your booking a full refund will be offered. No additional costs will be paid by ourselves from the result of us cancelling your booking.
4.Parking Requirements
4.1 Directions and parking procedures:
Park and Ride/Off-Site Services - Please make sure you have directions to your car park, your booking reference, the car park telephone number and details of the entry and exit procedures for the car park. This is all available on your booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to obtain valid directions before departing for the car park, any missed bookings, flights or other problems arising from the customer's failure to obtain valid directions will not be reimbursed by APG or any of our affiliates.
On-site/Meet and Greet Services - Please make sure you have the service provider's telephone number and details of the drop off and pick up procedure as stated on your booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to obtain this information before departing for the airport, any missed bookings, flights or other problems arising from the customer's failure to obtain this information will not be reimbursed by APG or any of our affiliates.
4.2 Please remove all possessions and leave only the keys/codes required to move your vehicle. In the interests of efficient operation you must be prepared to leave your car keys with car park staff if requested to do so unless otherwise stated.
4.3 Any client details input incorrectly, resulting in company drivers being kept waiting or late arrivals by clients may result in a £10 administration charge, payable to the car park driver immediately. Please check the MORE DETAILS of the product for surcharges.
4.4 The collection of your vehicle after midnight (0001) on the pick up date may result in the car parking provider charging a late fee, payable at the time of you collect your vehicle (see car park providers terms and conditions).
4.5 You must ensure that, before leaving the vehicle with the car parking company that it is in a roadworthy condition, taxed and holds a current MOT if applicable.
4.6 The car parking company reserves the right to move the vehicle within or outside the car parks by driving or otherwise to such extent as the car parking company, or its servants may in their discretion think necessary for the efficient arrangement of its parking facilities at the car parks, or in emergencies or to avoid accidents or obstructions. Ignition keys to the vehicle must therefore be left with the vehicle at the time of handing it over to the driver. (Unless you have booked a self-park product). It will be necessary in the exercise of the rights conferred upon the car parking company under this condition, for the car parking companies chauffeur to have the right to drive or otherwise take the vehicle on the public highway. The car parking companies chauffeurs are fully insured by the company for this purpose.
5.Payment
5.1 All prices are for pre-booking, quoted in UK pound sterling, include VAT where applicable and are subject to change.
5.2 Special offers, vouchers and promotion codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or codes unless otherwise stated.
5.3 All bookings are subject to a non-refundable booking fee.
5.3.1 We have to pay a fee or commission to various different security and financial organisations in order for us to process transactions through our website.
5.3.2 We choose not to add our booking fee to the quoted prices because we prefer to be transparent and describe our reasons for charging a booking fee. The fee goes towards:
The online payment gateway service which enables us to process your online payments securely.
Our Merchant Bank who provide a secure link between our payment gateway and our bank account so that we can receive the money for each order we process. Following this we then pay the car park operators whom provide the service to our customers.
Different fees apply for different cards so we simply take an average of the total fees.
5.4 A minimum stay policy may apply at some car parks. Should you wish to stay for fewer days you can, but the cost of the minimum duration is payable.
5.5 Surcharges may apply. Please check the products MORE DETAILS for any additional surcharges. These charges are charged by the chauffeur/car parking company independently and bare no relevance to Airport Parking Genie or our advertised prices.
5.6 High-sided or unusually wide vehicles - Not all car parks can accommodate them or there may be an extra charge. Please check MORE DETAILS on the product or contact our office for details before making a booking.
5.7 SMS Text Message Confirmation - we will only send a booking confirmation text to the customer on one occasion. If the customer requires an amendment to a booking, APG will not send another text message. APG shall not be liable if the text message is not received whether or not the customer has provided the wrong number. This feature is a non-refundable product.
5.8 Cancellation Waiver Normal cancellation notice period is 72 hours prior to drop off time/date.The cancellation waiver if paid by the customer at the time of booking, means that if necessary the customer may cancel the booking for any reason up to 24 hours of the departure date and will receive a full refund minus the £9.50 admin fee, the SMS text fee if selected, the cancellation waiver and the non-refundable booking fee. Those who cancel after this 24 hour notice period will be subject to our normal conditions listed below. To add the cancellation waiver protection simply tick the 'Cancellation Waiver' box on the customer details page when booking. This feature is non-refundable. Cancellation waiver does not apply to reservations booked the same day, booked for the following day or in certain products where stated.
6.Cancellation Procedure
(Not applicable to non-cancellable, non-amendable or non-refundable products):
6.1 All cancellations must be made directly via AIRPORT PARKING GENIE LTD in order to be valid. (Not through the car park provider).
6.2 To cancel a booking please send an email to reservations@airportparkinggenie.com or call us on 01293 277727 during office hours (Monday to Friday 0930 to 1730) quoting your booking reference number. A £9.50 cancellation fee will apply and be deducted from the refunded parking fee.
6.3 Any customer who did not comply with the on screen booking requirements (e.g. printing off their confirmation etc.) resulting in the customer unable to park, will not be subject to a refund.
6.4 No refunds are available for unused part stays
6.5 Any customer wishing to curtail the length of stay for a service, once the service has commenced, will be liable to pay the fee for the whole of the service booked.
6.6 All booking transaction charges levied by banks, credit card and other providers of financial services are strictly non-refundable.
6.7 Cancellations cannot be accepted for any supersaver, non-flexible or non-refundable parking product.
6.8 Cancellations cannot be accepted for the SMS and cancellation waiver service. These services are non-refundable.
6.9 Should a customer wish to cancel a booking they must do so at least 72 hours prior to the arranged time of service. If for any reason the customer fails in such an attempt, the customer will receive NO refund. Any bookings made within 72 hours of the arranged time of service will receive NO refund.
6.10 Duplicate Bookings - In the event of a customer making a duplicate booking for the same stay/vehicle and does not contact us within 48 hours of the service starting time the customer will incur the full cost of that booking.
6.11 Cancellation waiver does not apply to reservations booked the same day, booked for the following day or in certain products where stated.
Cancellations are subject to the contractual terms agreed upon within these Terms & Conditions.
7.Amendment Policy
Any date and/or product amendments made to a booking with less than 24 hours notice will incur an amendment charge of £5.00.
To amend your booking please send an email to reservations@airportparkinggenie.com or contact our office during our office hours (Monday to Friday 0930 to 1730).
8.Complaints Procedure
8.1 Please inform your chosen car park service provider immediately if you encounter a problem to give them the opportunity to rectify the problem. If you do not advise the provider at the time it may be difficult to pursue a complaint at a later stage. Our service providers are more than willing to assist with any given request, however assistance cannot be guaranteed.

9.Limitations of Liability
9.1 The total liability for Airport Parking Genie Ltd to the customer for all claims arising from the use of this website and materials is limited to the cost of the customer's booking including both parking and booking fees paid to Airportparkinggenie.com as per the contract.
9.2 We will act with reasonable skill and care when providing you with our services.
9.3 Nothing in these terms and conditions limits our liability in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or in the case of fraud.
10.Modification
Airport Parking Genie Ltd may at any time modify these Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of this website including telephone bookings will be conditioned upon the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of your use.
11.Miscellaneous
11.1 We may use information supplied by the customer at the time of booking for the following purposes: (a) to fulfil the booking; (b) to process and obtain payment; (c) for analysis and profiling the customer's car parking preferences (e.g. market, customer and product analysis) to enable review, development and improvement to the products and services offered; (d) to enable the APG to provide the customer and other customers with relevant information through the our marketing programme. Airport Parking Genie may keep the customer informed of its products and services using any of the following methods: e-mail, post, telephone, SMS. If the customer wishes to opt-out of these marketing activities please advise the company accordingly.
11.2 We request the customers to ensure they arrive at the car park with plenty of time to achieve their flight check-in.
